Things to do in Kauai, Hawaii

We have included a list of some of our personal favorite island things to do!

  • Farmers Markets. We love the Kukuiula Shops on Wednesday starting at 3 PM (More farmers markets and activities can be found on Kauai.com)
  • Renting a surfboard on the property and taking lessons is such a fun way to spend the morning! Rentals are about $10 (bring cash)
  • Spending a day driving the canyon and getting lunch at the top is awesome! Check the open hours. Times vary but the treats are delicious!
  • Things close early on the island, make sure to get your food or shopping done early.
  • Look around the shops, some of them have awesome deals on gold jewelry.
  • Beach house restaurant- delicious and has some of the best snorkeling! You can watch the parrots at sunset!
  • We love Nanita Lazo for Taxi: 808-639-2008 (Cash only)
  • Massage, there are several wonderful therapists on the island that we love. We recommend spending as much time getting selfcare as possible! This is your time to relax and reset. Try a 90 minute Mana Lomi!
  • If you want to visit Napali coast, book your permits in advance. https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dsp/parks/kauai/
  • Any excursion you would like to do while on island, make sure you book it in advance. It is hard to get last minute reservations once you are here.
  • We love the Napali coast boat tour, an epic adventure. They shot scenes from Jumanji and Pirates on the beach down from the Hyatt (a couple miles down from us). It is an easy and fun hike. We have done Captain Andys and enjoyed it! Here is their phone number. 808-335-6833
